Our Work

Here are some of the lamps that I have created so far.  While there may be similarities between some of the lamps, I think each one has its own uniqueness.  I hope you find something you like as you scroll through the gallery.  The given size for each lamp is an estimate.

This is where it all began!  This is the first lamp I ever made and it means a lot to me as it reminds me where I started and that I have come a long way since then.  This lamp is not for sale.

This lamp contains several gauges and two lights that work independent of each other.  The base is made from reclaimed pallets and fencing.  The connections are made from black pipe.

This lamp is made from conduit, as opposed to the first two that were made with black pipe.  There are three gauges and it has a unique switch and a diamond plate base wrapped in metal.

I made some changes to this one from its original design.  I would like to think it as having a more major approach to design, others may disagree.  In any event, I am very happy with the adaptations.  This lamp has two very subtle switches controlling a main light and one controlling a back night light.  There are three gauges and black pipe construction.

This lamp uses black pipe, a few gauges, and a black diamond plate base wrapped in old fencing.  This is one of the first lamps I did and you can tell by the light cage as I soon switched to a new style shortly after this one.  (I still like and use the old style in newer lamps.)  There is a very subtle switch to operate both lights.

This lamp contains three gauges and a large meter which hides the switch.  The base is made from reclaimed pallets and fencing and includes an old metal machine plate.  The connections are made from black pipe.

This lamp is one of the wider ones, but it is not very deep.  This switch is an old micro switch that I love with the two oilers and gauge.  The black pipe works very nicely with the reclaimed pallet and fence wood base.

This is the first lamp that uses an explosion proof fixture as the light, not that this lamp will ever explode!   There are two gauges, an "emergency" shut off to turn the light on and off and the base is made from reclaimed pallet wood and barn wood.  This lamp is made from black pipe, as well.

This lamp has a substantial pulley for a base.  It includes two lights that are operated by independent switches.  It also has three gauges (two good-sized ones!) and is made from black pipe.

The base is another significant sized, round fan-like cast iron object.  It has an oiler, a gauge and a dimmer switch the operates the volt meter on the right (it works and will display the voltage!).  This is made with black pipe.

Two explosion proof lights (no, not necessary!) and a really awesome switch is all that makes up this lamp.  The black pipe construction goes with the diamond plate base wrapped in old fence wood.

This lamp has one large gauge and a couple of oilers.  It has one light, a diamond plate base that is wrapped in old fence wood.

This single-bulb lamp has three gauges and a meter that sadly could not be restored to working order.  It has a diamond plate base wrapped in old fence wood and is made from black pipe.

This lamp is the first made from copper pipe, but with a twist that sets it apart from the others - it is made with push fittings as opposed to being soldered.  This one took a while for me to get it to a point that I am (very) happy with.  It has two separate switches (yes, the fire alarm lights the front light) that run the separate lights.  There is a gauge and, of course, sprinkler heads, which obviously don't work (the whole water/electricity thing would be an issue!).  There is a copper plated base wrapped in reclaimed wood.

This lamp has a special meaning to me.  The outdoor switch I found in my dad's garage after he passed away.  So, there is a little bit of him in this lamp.  The switch controls the two lights.  There are three gauges along with some black pipe.  The base is made from pallet and fence wood.

This is one of the few that actually have a water meter as the main part of the lamp. This also includes two independent switches that control separate lights, that are extra long.  The lamp is made from black pipe and the base is made from pallet and fence wood.  An update picture will be coming soon.

This is one of the very few lamps made from copper pipe.  You won't have trouble telling the difference from my work and a professional plumber!  It was a lot of fun to do and I do like the challenge (and it is a challenge!!) of working with the copper.  The fire alarm does control the light.  There are a couple of gauges and a sprinkler head.  The base has a copper top with a ballet wood base.

I really like clean lines and simple, straight design and this lamp hits both of the those.  Here we have the water meter again with a single gauge, single switch and single, long (about 7"), tubular t10 bulb.  The base is old pallet and fence wood.
